LA Chargers’ Hunter Henry suffers tibia plateau fracture

Even the Los Angeles Chargers have declared that tight end Hunter Henry suffered a plateau fracture to his left knee.
According to the team, Henry will last to be assessed and the time for his return has not been ascertained. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Henry’s injury is expected to sideline him for four to six weeks.
With Henry outside, Virgil Green will take on an expanded role for the Chargers. They have Sean Culkin in the place.
It is another injury setback for Henry, who overlooked the 2018 regular season with a torn ACL. He returned to perform in the Chargers’ playoff loss.
The Chargers are without All-Pro security Derwin James, who is facing out three months after suffering a stress fracture in his fifth metatarsal during training .
Pro Bowl running Melvin Gordon also stays absent as he attempts a new contract in the team.
