LA Chargers’ Hunter Henry suffers tibia plateau fracture

Even the Los Angeles Chargers have declared that tight end Hunter Henry suffered a tibia plateau fracture to his left knee.
According to the team, Henry will last to be assessed and the timeframe for his return has not yet been decided. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Henry’s injury is expected to sideline him.
Together with Henry out, Virgil Green will take on an expanded role for the Chargers. In addition they have Sean Culkin at the position.
It is another injury blow for Henry, who overlooked the 2018 season with a torn ACL. He returned to play at the Chargers’ playoff loss.
The Chargers are currently without All-Pro safety Derwin James, who is currently facing out three months last month after suffering a stress fracture in his fifth metatarsal.
Pro Bowl running back Melvin Gordon remains absent as he attempts a new contract.
