LA Chargers’ Hunter Henry suffers tibia plateau fracture

The Los Angeles Chargers have announced that tight end Hunter Henry endured a tibia plateau fracture to his left knee.
According to the team, Henry will continue to be assessed and the timeframe for his return has not been ascertained. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Henry’s injury is expected to sideline him.
With Henry outside, Virgil Green will take on an enlarged role for the Chargers. They also have Sean Culkin at the place.
It is another injury setback for Henry, who missed the 2018 regular season with a torn ACL. He returned to play with in the Chargers’ playoff loss to the New England Patriots.
The Chargers are currently without safety Derwin James, who’s facing out three months after suffering a stress fracture in his fifth metatarsal .
Pro Bowl running Melvin Gordon also stays absent as he seeks a new contract.
