Shane Lowry: Race to Dubai win would cap an incredible year

Shane Lowry insists that he is not placing himself to acquire the Race to cover what has been the most memorable period of his profession and Dubai.
Lowry started 2019 in Abu Dhabi together along with his Rolex Series victory, when he stormed at Royal Portrush, winning The Open by six 42, but he surpassed that achievement.
The Irishmans stellar year has ensured he is firmly in contention to terminate the season as European No 1 for the very first time, and he will try to regain the lead near the top of the Hurry to Dubai standings in the Open having been overtaken by Spanish Open champion Jon Rahm final week.
Obviously Id like to maneuver Jon this week, but finally, its just likely to matter who is No 1 in the end of November, said Lowry. Ive got lots of events , I feel as if my game is good enough and I feel as if I will give it a really great go. Im very enthusiastic about this, and it might be a excellent conclusion to what has been a great year for me personally.
When I win the Rush to Dubai, it will be great. If I do not, I am not going to sit home and shout about it, but it could be a massive factor for me. So Im going to give it my best to take at the scores I could , hopefully, win that trophy.
Ultimately, its probably going to come down to the last few occasions. I am only going to continue doing exactly what Ive been doing this year. It is very exciting that I am there and Im excited about this challenge.
Obviously I want to keep trying to pick up some Ryder Cup tips and maintain challenging myself every day to take the best scores I could, and just sort of keep enjoying with my golf, keep doing what Ive been doing all year, and also to win the Race to Dubai, that would kind of high off whats been an amazing year.
Lowry and with the opening two rounds in Rome will perform with home favorite Francesco Molinari, the guy he replaced as Open winner, last May, after missing out on the hat-trick and also the Italian will be bidding.
Molinari has memories of claiming his maiden European Tour victory at Castello di Tolcinasco at 2006, and he delighted the Milan lovers again when he pipped Danny Willett by a stroke.
I feel the very first win on Tour, I never knew it was coming and now, of course in the home, I think no one really expected me to win at the beginning of the week, he explained. You could almost feel the expectations rising through the entire week, and it was just an amazing relief on the 18th green, seeing all the people there observing, plenty of friends and families.
I could not have asked for a better first win on Tour, however, the second one was not different. Many decades later, and obviously different conditions and tastes from the start. I had not won in a couple of decades, although I had a season that year.
In a house occasion, in case you start well, youll feel the vibe changing and people sort of expecting you to acquire and to bring the trophy home. I just remember the back nine Sunday, not playing my very best golf, but just grinding again and hard, enormous relief on the 18th green
