After the Grigor Dimitrov of Bulgaria won a thriller to finally beat the Swiss great five-time champion Roger Federer is from their US Open.
Federer had won seven of their past meetings to get a memorable 3-6 6-4 win in New York however Dimitrov fought .
Injury hampered federer in the latter stages, permitting unseeded Dimitrov to run off with victory.
Dimitrov, 28, will play Russian fifth seed Daniil Medvedev in the last four.
